Originally established in 1982 as V & V Precision Engravers CC by Lawrence van Greenen, his brother, Peter and Lawrence’s son, Grant joining in 1991. The company then had a name change and traded as V & V Signs and after 38 years of trading we have evolved to bring our clients, even greater benefits. As a first step to establish the group, we have merged with Signcraft (Pty) Ltd in Kwa-Zulu Natal and have subsequently formed a new  company, Signcraft Africa (Pty) Ltd. Signcraft Africa (Pty) Ltd has a Level 1 BBBEE status, an approach which undoubtedly makes Signcraft Africa  (Pty) Ltd the largest signage company on the African continent.

The changes help us to be a key strength in the signage manufacturing and installation arena in Sub-Saharan Africa. Effective since the 1 st of July  2019 we can now provide full manufacturing and related services nationally including Johannesburg, Kwa-Zulu Natal, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth,  Bloemfontein, Polokwane and Nelspruit.

Our footprint in Africa allows us to provide a full offering across borders, alleviating expensive export costs while keeping the same quality and warranty conditions you have become accustomed to in South Africa. Countries that are part of our newly established African Sign Alliance include  Botswana, Zambia, Mozambique, Namibia, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Congo, Nigeria, Ghana, Mauritius and the Seychelles.
