Job Title: Technical Draughtsperson

Location: Johannesburg, Robertville

Description

We are seeking an experienced technical draughtsman to join our team.  Technical Draughtsman will be required to assist by creating technical drawings as required for the various signage projects in production. Other criteria include:

• Create technical drawings for signage projects
• Update technical drawings as required
• Liaise with the production team and other stakeholders to ensure drawings are accurate.
• Check site measurements for signage elements required
• Ensure technical files created are checked and approved before sharing with production team
• Update the technical files on the technical file register
• Conduct site checks (to take measurements) as required

Attributes 

• Proven experience as a technical draughtsman
• Must be able to read and understand technical drawings
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Meet tight deadlines

Qualifications 

• 3 – 5 years’ experience Signage industry including creating technical drawings and cut files
• Proficient at using Corel Draw design software
• Proficient at using Auto CAD Inventor software
• Driver’s license – is a must.
