Job Title: Signage Installer

Location: Mt Edgecombe – KZN

Experience: 3+ years

Type: Full Time

DESCRIPTION

• The candidate is expected to install signage elements for various projects while ensuring that quality standards are maintained throughout the installation process. The incumbent should be able to use a variety of tools and machinery to assemble and install products on site. Other duties include:
  • Install various signage elements on site.
  • Identify any defective items and handle according to established procedures.
  • Erect and climb on scaffolding.
  • Communicate effectively with customers on site.
  • Understand requirements on site with regards to safety files and safety regulations.

ATTRIBUTES

• Proven experience as an installer.
• Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc.
• Ability in using tools (e.g. drills).
• Vinyl application experience advantageous.
• Driver’s license – is a must.
• Valid medical certificate – advantageous.
• Valid relevant certifications – Working at heights, scaffolding inspector/erector, First Aid etc – advantageous.
• Good understanding of quality control principles.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition.
• Police clearance is a must.
