Job Title: Signage Steel Metal Worker

DESCRIPTION

The Steel Metal Worker plays a critical role in the production of high-quality signage by cutting, welding, and assembling metal components. This role involves working with a variety of metals—primarily steel and aluminium—to create structural frameworks, supports, and decorative elements for custom signs used in commercial, retail, and architectural settings.

Key Responsibilities

•  Cut, bend, weld, and assemble steel components for signage structures
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate builds
• Operate machinery such as press brakes, grinders
• Collaborate with design and installation teams to meet project specifications
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment
• Ensure all work meets quality, durability, and safety standards

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a steel metal worker (signage industry experience preferred)
• Proficient in welding
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD plans
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
