Job Title: Qualified Spray Painter

Location: Robertville, Johannesburg

Experience: 5+ years

Type: Full Time

As a spray painter, you will be responsible for filling, smoothing, and repairing each product’s surface, mixing the coating liquids, and spraying each layer according to specifications.

DUTIES

• Spray paint various signage elements to complete an order.
• Identify any defective items and handle according to established procedures.
• Produce even, hard-wearing coatings that exactly match the colours and finishes requested.
• Inspecting and assessing spray coatings after the paint has dried.
• Colour matching.

SKILLS

• Proven experience as a spray painter.
• In-depth knowledge of paint mixing and spraying techniques.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good understanding of quality control principles.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic colouristic certified.
• Qualification in spray painting/automotive collision repair is preferred.
